UTD QR Code Generator

A small static web app for generating UT Dallas themed QR codes as high-resolution PNG files.

The app runs entirely in the browser. The URL you enter is encoded locally into a canvas; it is not sent to a server or third-party QR API.

Features

• Accepts any http or https URL.
• Adds https:// automatically when a scheme is omitted.
• Uses UT Dallas orange for the QR finder blocks and UT Dallas green for the data modules.
• Lets users choose either the UT Dallas emblem or Temoc as the center image.
• Keeps the emblem's round white backing and draws Temoc as artwork only, with no square badge.
• Exports PNG files at 1024, 2048, 3072, or 4096 px.
• Uses high QR error correction to improve scan tolerance with the center mark.

Local Use

Open index.html directly in a browser, or serve the folder locally:

python3 -m http.server 8000

Then visit:

http://localhost:8000/

Deployment

This is a plain static site. It can be published with GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, or any static file host. No build step is required.
