First full release.
Lots of tuning and bug fixes.
- hit boxes look good
- fixes to music cycling
- scores stay on screen
- health orbs have a life-time
Many changes to address feedback.
- final boss has been reworked
- boss spends more time on screen fight you
- there are now mini-bosses on each level
- added new enemy, green saucers. They periodically drop health orbs to refresh you shields
- difficulty switch for easy vs pro. easy has slow fighters, slower enemy fire rates and larger hitboxes
- regular fighters now have a larger sprite and slightly larger hit box overall
- fixed main ship sprite, so the bullets go where you are aiming
Todo:
- high-score on transition screens
- high-scores + savekey/card

Lots of good improvements:
- added timer to delay spawn of enemies at start of level
- music will rotate on title-screen
- no more auto screen advance.. waits for the user
- added health-bars are revamp of UI

Welcome to Astrowing. Game is still under heavy development, so expect bugs -- and report them!
The project has been setup for CMake and VSCode, but compiling with 7800basic.sh(.bat) should work just fine.
A number of issues have been created to track valuable community feedback.
