Independent review findings (head da5f8150)

I audited the exact source/evidence chain, checklist closure, cross-document status, and current CI signal. The recorded e87d30d3 source relationship and the corpus, executable, dylib, and expanded-resource SHA-256 values all validate. I found three documentation issues:

1. [P2] The scope disclaimer contradicts the newly closed workflow evidence. docs/validation/v0.20-wayfinder-popover-research-readiness.md:11 still says this record does not claim “an end-to-end dataset-driven workflow,” while the updated status/evidence/decision sections document the complete dataset-driven Task 7 Brief → Plan → Receipt flow and production-host projections for all seven tasks. The disclaimer should be narrowed to the genuinely open participant-run seven-task session and whole-workflow cross-cutting accessibility pass.

2. [P2] VoiceOver state coverage is closed more broadly than the recorded evidence supports. The Task 7 checklist at line 222 marks VoiceOver order/roles/state complete, and the cross-document summaries call the exact-source matrix complete. However, the exact-source evidence at line 120 and NEXT_STEPS.md:18 record only stage focus/order/roles plus the copy-success announcement. They do not record state-semantics observations for recommendation requirements, verified progress, receipt/unchanged facts, or action availability. Detailed VoiceOver state coverage should remain open, and the complete-matrix summaries should be narrowed, unless attributable exact-source observations are added.

3. [P3] The Receipt completion action is misnamed in the evidence. Lines 120 and 221 say “Use Helm Now” was checked from Brief, Plan, and Receipt. Exact source e87d30d3 labels the Brief and Plan action “Use Helm Now,” but the Receipt action is “Open Helm.” The evidence should name the actual controls.

Other reviewed provenance and gate boundaries are sound: participant validation, whole-workflow cross-cutting accessibility, Ventura, and targeted Sparkle handoff remain open; the missing-path owner evidence is correctly separated from automated invalid-path coverage; docs-sync and git diff --check pass; completed GitHub checks are green, with no need to wait for the remaining jobs.

Follow-up: the review findings are remediated in 4ad87538.

• Narrowed all five source-of-truth documents from a completed Task 7 owner matrix to the exact checks actually observed on e87d30d3.
• Reopened detailed VoiceOver state semantics for recommendation requirements, verified progress, receipt/unchanged facts, and action availability; the participant checkpoint remains gated on that evidence.
• Corrected the completion-action record to Use Helm Now for Brief/Plan and Open Helm for Receipt.
• Preserved and independently reverified the canonical corpus, executable, dylib, and expanded-resource hashes.
• Updated the PR title and body so they no longer claim full matrix closure.

Validation passed: docs-sync, i18n quality gate, macOS UI quality gate (335 tests), git diff --check, and three independent focused re-reviews. The PR is ready to merge as an accurate owner-QA evidence/status update; it deliberately leaves detailed Task 7 VoiceOver state semantics open for the next validation pass.

• updated the PR title/body so they no longer claim the full owner matrix is closed
