just want to say thank you for sharing
such an impressive piece of code
i especially love web implementation

i am however trying to use the pip installed module (timezonefinder, of course)
in blender 3d app
but blender refuses to import tzfinder module
blender does import other pip-installed module, ie pytz

main goal of me using this module
is to convert local time into utc time
and then use that utc time for further computation
in another py module (pyswisseph - astrology stuff)

Thanks for bringing this up. The import error arises within h3 code. Could you please investigate this issue in the context of the h3 library: https://github.com/uber/h3-py

i submitted bug issue to h3_py git repo
and found workaround - from blender, call timezonefinder via sys terminal call, use terminal result
it is a bit slow, but it works as expected
