Software engineering consultant — full stack: frontend, mobile and backend.
I work with teams as an independent consultant, taking features from the interface all the way down. That means React and TypeScript on the web, React Native / Expo on mobile — including the native modules they need when JavaScript runs out — and the Node.js, Go, C#, Java, PHP, services behind both. I've spent a lot of time in codebases where the hard part isn't the UI: offline-first sync, key management, protocol work.
Shipping software since 2011 trought Github.
- Web frontends — React, TypeScript and Vite, from component work to whole applications
- Mobile development — React Native / Expo apps, greenfield through to the app stores
- The native boundary — Swift, Kotlin and Objective-C modules when a JS-only approach stops being enough
- Backend — Node, Go and C# services, APIs and the data layer underneath them
- Consulting and review — architecture, technical direction, and second opinions on existing codebases
Comfortable working solo or embedded in an existing team.
Some of the public work I've contributed to:
| Project | What it is |
|---|---|
| berty/berty | Secure P2P messaging that works without internet, cellular data, or trust in the network |
| gnoverse/dsocial | Decentralized social app, built with React Native |
| gnolang/gnonative | Native-language SDK for building mobile clients |
| gnoverse/boards2-mobile | Mobile client for a decentralized message board |
Also mine: grafana-iot-map-panel, a Grafana plugin for plotting GPS markers — built for logistics, fleet and IoT dashboards.
