Clarify default-branch behavior for daf git new #665
Users may expect daf git new to propose the repository's default branch, but this command creates an analysis-only GitHub/GitLab issue session and intentionally does not create or select a branch. Default source-branch selection is part of the development workflows (daf new and daf open).
Motivation
The command name and the fact that it starts from a repository can make the branch behavior unclear. Users should be able to tell whether they want an analysis-only issue-creation session or a development session that creates a branch from the repository default.
Proposed Solution
Make the distinction more visible in daf git new help and the relevant workflow documentation. Explain that no branch picker is shown for this analysis-only workflow, and point users to daf new / daf open for development-session branch selection. Keep the current analysis-only behavior unless branch creation is explicitly redesigned.
Acceptance Criteria
daf git new --help or its command documentation explicitly says that it does not create or select a branch.
The documentation points users to the development workflow for default-branch selection.
The analysis-only behavior of GitHub/GitLab issue-creation sessions remains clear and unchanged.

Implemented the clarification in daf git new --help, the GitHub/GitLab workflow docs, and bundled daf-git/daf-workflow skills. The command remains analysis-only; a supplied --branch only records session metadata. Focused unit tests (28), package-wide mypy, and the isolated integration suite (19/19) pass.
Issue Clarify default-branch behavior for daf git new #665: clarified that daf git new creates an analysis-only issue session, does not create/select or check out a development branch, and does not show the development branch picker; directed development workflows to daf new/daf open. Focused tests, mypy, and integration suite pass.
