Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, there are many convenience aliases for elements used in uss_qualifier tests; for instance, the line from .planning_area import PlanningAreaResource as PlanningAreaResource in __init__.py in the resources folder allows test configurations/suites/etc to refer to resources.PlanningAreaResource rather than resources.planning_area.PlanningAreaResource. This can be problematic, however, because loading a file in a module folder causes the initializer to be loaded first, so the full Resource object is loaded before we can reach the interface-only definitions.py file. This means we currently cannot refer solely to the resources interface without loading a big part of its implementation, and this can and has caused circular import challenges.
Describe the solution you'd like
Remove all convenience aliases from uss_qualifier elements. This will require test configuration updates from some users, so would need to be labeled as a required migration in NEXT_RELEASE_NOTES.md.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Leaving the aliases is not completely unacceptable and therefore the priority of this Issue is not high. But, I think it would be better to clean them up in the long run.
