The80sMan - Obsidian Theme

A sophisticated, customizable, and feature-rich dark theme for Obsidian, designed for professional use and extended reading sessions. This repository includes three variants:

  • The80sMan (theme.css): The primary, published theme featuring a refined, professional color palette.
  • ICOrangePeople (ICOrangePeople.css): An unpublished alternative with a vibrant, warm orange palette that maintains feature parity.
  • Ristretto (theme-ristretto.css): An unpublished alternative with a vibrant, warm orange palette that maintains feature parity.

This is the main theme, designed for a clean, professional look. It uses a balanced color palette with warm orange accents, cool blues, and sage greens to create a comfortable and productive workspace.

Installation

  1. Download the theme-<variant>.css file from the latest release.
  2. Place the file in your Obsidian vault's .obsidian/themes/ folder.
  3. Open Obsidian Settings > Appearance.
  4. Select "The80sMan" from the theme dropdown menu.
  5. Ensure dark mode is enabled in Appearance settings.
