Closing per T61 panel consensus: TypeScript 7.0 is a native rewrite, breaks by design (defaults become hard errors). CI red on this PR. Panel unanimous — leaving major-bump PRs open is worse than closing (noise, dependabot won't reopen a closed PR unless a new version drops). Dependabot ignore rule for typescript majors will land in a follow-up commit. Reopen manually when TS 7 support is planned work.
