Developers with recent simulator runtimes can now use open -n build/debug/SimStore.app --args --preview incompatible to inspect the existing compatibility UI. The Debug scenario supplies a booted iPhone 8 running iOS 12.0 with an empty app inventory and loads the real catalog. It intercepts device queries, rejects downloads and device operations, and does not require an old runtime. The command and its behavior are documented in docs/previews.md.

Incompatible installation actions in app details now read “Install anyway” / “仍要安装”, use a regular button, and have no default Return action. Compatible installation buttons retain their existing sizing; version-change confirmations and installation behavior are preserved.

Validation:

  • Debug and Release builds passed.
  • Debug preview scenarios, Release localization and stable button sizing checks passed.
  • Strict Swift formatting, clean string extraction, and diff checks passed.
  • Native English and Simplified Chinese preview windows verified: incompatible list installation is disabled, details display the warning and localized action, and preview installation is rejected before downloading or running device commands. The final button styling was visually checked and the action is not the default Return button.
  • Rebasing onto the merged updates PR left the tested source tree unchanged.
