Installation
The sprinkler controller can either be mounted using the 4 screw holes which will accept a #6 wood screw (not supplied), or it can be mounted on a DIN Rail.
Caution: When mounting to a back board using wood screws, use a manual screwdriver and do not over-tighten the screws! Over-tightening will crack the plastic of the enclosure.
There are 2 pluggable screw terminal blocks provided with the hardware. One is a 2 pin connector for the power transformer, and the other is a 12 pin connector for the valves.

Attach the 2 pin power connector to a piece of 2 conductor 20 AWG cable (not supplied) and connect the other end to your 24VAC transformer (Not supplied)
Polarity is not important as the power is 24VAC.
The 12 pin connector is used to connect your solenoid valves to the sprinkler controller.
From the left most position (pin 1), on the connector, the pinout as as follows:

Valve wires are connected to one of terminals 1-9 and one of the valve return terminals 10-12.
The 3 valve return connector pins are connected together. Any valve return may be connected to any one of these 3 pins. For systems which need more valve return terminals, use an external connector (not supplied) such as a WAGO connector or wirenut to combine multiple valve returns into 1 wire.
Note: The valves used must not draw more than 0.4 amps each. Do not put more then 1 valve on a valve driver.
