Loco

Simplies app to creates local domains for development on macOS. Route a domain such as reach.dev to localhost:3000 or any HTTP/HTTPS URL, then open it directly in your browser.

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple silicon or Intel Mac

Install

  1. Download the latest version from GitHub Releases.
  2. Move Loco.app to Applications and open it.
  3. Complete Setup to approve the system helper.
  4. Optionally trust the Root CA to use HTTPS local domains without browser warnings.

Loco may request an administrator password while installing its system helper or Root CA.

Development

Open loco.xcodeproj in Xcode and run the Loco scheme. The loco-helper target is embedded automatically and should not be launched directly.
