…se image Previously the Ubuntu Containerfile installed packages into the ubuntu:26.04 container directly, so the final image inherited everything in the base image. Now ubuntu:26.04 is used only as a build host providing mmdebstrap and dracut; each variant is bootstrapped fresh into /rootfs with only explicitly-listed packages, then copied FROM scratch — matching the Fedora build's approach. Key changes: - Add builder stage with mmdebstrap + dracut (build host only, not in output) - One mmdebstrap call per variant; suite derived from builder's /etc/os-release - --setup-hook writes kernel-img.conf (do_initrd=No) before package install to suppress update-initramfs, which is absent in minbase; dracut --sysroot builds the initramfs instead - dracut --sysroot /rootfs replaces native dracut run (same as Fedora path) - Final FROM scratch stages copy from /rootfs, not from the container root
