🛡️ Best Practices for Success

Keep these tips in mind to get the best result when you record.

  • Close other programs that you do not need. This leaves more power for the recording tool.
  • Ensure your microphone works if you plan to record your voice. Use the "Audio Mixer" box to check your input levels. Green bars indicate that the program hears your sound.
  • Test a short recording of 10 seconds before you record a long session. Check the video file to ensure it plays correctly on your player.

❓ Troubleshooting Common Issues

If the software does not work, check these common items first.

  • The program does not open: Ensure you downloaded the correct version for your Windows system.
  • The video looks dark: Open the "Settings" menu and navigate to the "Output" tab. Adjust your bitrate to a higher value for better quality.
  • No sound records: Check the "Audio" tab in the "Settings" menu. Make sure you selected the correct microphone from the list of devices.
