Aria Alive is a web-based platform designed to provide personalized air quality risk insights using real-time PM2.5 data. It helps users understand how air pollution affects their health and offers actionable recommendations to stay safe.
Air pollution, especially PM2.5 (≤2.5 microns), is a major health threat contributing to over 1.67 million deaths annually in India.
Existing platforms:
- Provide only general AQI data
- Lack personalized health insights
- Do not offer real-time actionable guidance
👉 There is a need for a system that provides individualized risk assessment based on personal health and exposure.
Aria Alive introduces a Personalized Air Quality Risk Management Platform that transforms general air pollution data into individualized health insights. Unlike traditional AQI systems, this platform focuses on user-specific risk assessment by combining environmental data with personal health factors.
The system bridges the gap between raw pollution data and real-life health impact by answering:
👉 “How does today’s air quality affect YOU specifically?”
Users provide essential inputs:
- Age
- Health conditions (e.g., asthma, cardiovascular issues)
- Time spent outdoors
- Current location
These inputs determine the user’s individual susceptibility to pollution.
The system integrates:
- Google AirView+ PM2.5 data
- Geospatial APIs (Google Maps)
This ensures accurate, real-time, location-based pollution tracking.
A Machine Learning model (Logistic Regression) analyzes:
- PM2.5 levels
- User health profile
- Exposure duration
👉 It generates a Personalized Risk Score representing health impact severity.
Instead of raw data, users receive:
- 📊 Daily personalized risk levels
- ⏰ Safe time slots for outdoor activities
- 🗺️ Low-pollution route suggestions
- 💡 Health recommendations (mask usage, reduced exposure)
The system continuously monitors pollution levels and:
- Sends instant alerts during high-risk conditions
- Provides personalized safety guidance
- Notifies users via email/SMS
An optional chatbot feature:
- Answers user queries
- Explains risks in simple terms
- Suggests immediate precautions
- 📊 Daily personalized risk levels
- ⏰ Safe outdoor timing suggestions
- 🗺️ Low-pollution route recommendations
- 🔔 Real-time alerts
- 🤖 Chatbot assistance
- 📍 Live location-based updates
- Converts generic AQI → personalized health insights
- Provides real-time decision-making support
- Uses ML-based prediction for accuracy
- Works on any device (no app needed)
- Especially useful for vulnerable individuals
Aria Alive is not just an air quality tracker—it is a smart health companion that empowers users to:
- Understand their personal risk
- Take preventive actions
- Reduce long-term health damage
👉 It turns pollution data into meaningful, life-saving decisions.
