Replace the old main tree with the thesis benchmark branch state from sprints so the experiment-producing lineage becomes canonical. This preserves the W&B result provenance on the sprints lineage while satisfying protected-branch PR requirements instead of force-pushing main. Backup branches for old main and sprints were created before this promotion.
