🧬 Sequencing & Molecular Markers Intern — GDM (Cambé–PR) · Jan–Apr 2025

High-throughput genomics supporting GDM's multi-crop molecular breeding program (soybean, maize, sorghum, wheat, sunflower):

  • Next-generation sequencing on Illumina, Ion Torrent and MGI T7 — genomic library preparation, quality control and preliminary data analysis in a high-throughput environment
  • High-throughput SNP genotyping with TaqMan and KASP assays (endpoint PCR & qPCR on QuantStudio 3 / FLUOstar) for molecular-marker projects
  • Large-scale data traceability & QC monitoring (LGC Kraken) across ~40,000 samples/day on automated platforms (Oktopure, Replikator, Hydrocycler, Solex)
  • Data monitoring & dashboards with Grafana and Elasticsearch
