OK, so I have not updated to 6.2 (and fear that I won't be able to do so until it gets into TL 2027 because installing 6.1 without updating to TL 2026 broke everything).
however I have lately had an issue, occasionally, where scores run off the page like so. In the past,
Relatedly: I have to manually insert \raggedbottom as scores will needlessly stretch or otherwise break the page manually, which I did only for non-chant text elements that need to be kept together, like "Collect" with the prayer's text or Scriptural citations for a reading/the Vespers chapter, and so on (or the "Hymn" that needs to be on the same page as, well, the chant score).
I can work through this more, but I'm a bit stumped as to what's going on (to the point of struggling with an MWE, as everything starts off OK, and everything after is OK, and it hadn't happened with the previous version (I had TL 2021).
in this case, the problem is "solved" because I relented and use abovelinestext to convey the information that was previously in a separate paragraph outside of the score's TeX paragraph and not between tags. But I've had a few instances where removing that text isn't possible (it's the required liturgical text for example).
