Pull request review status:
No new findings. All previous review threads are resolved. Manual checks passed: AppImage startup and bundled-library loading; pacman-managed installs keep updates with the package manager after a manual check and update-track change. |

Linux visitors to the downloads page mostly leave without downloading: the site only offers a Debian package, so anyone on Arch, Fedora, openSUSE or NixOS has nothing to install. Linux is 13% of the landing page's visitors but 4% of the download page's.
Every release now ships four Linux files built from one build on Debian 12: an AppImage that runs on any distribution, the Debian package, an RPM package for Fedora and other RPM distributions, and a tarball that the AUR package
request-eagle-bininstalls from. The downloads page, README and release docs offer them. The app knows which package it runs from, so each one is offered its own update: the AppImage runtime names the image in the environment, and the Debian and RPM packages name themselves in
/usr/share/request-eagle/package. The AUR package names pacman there and the app leaves updates to it.Promote release publishes the AUR package for each stable release once the
AUR_SSH_PRIVATE_KEYsecret is set;docs/releases.mdhas the two steps. Until then the AUR link on the downloads page leads to a package that does not exist yet.The packages were built and inspected locally; the AppImage was launched on a virtual display and runs from its mount. The AppStream metadata and desktop entry validate.
