BQ27421 Fuel Gauge HLA

Saleae Logic 2 High Level Analyzer for TI BQ27421 I2C traffic.

Use

1. In Logic 2, open Extensions.
2. Add this folder as a local extension: screenshots/bq27421_hla.
3. Add the BQ27421 Fuel Gauge HLA above an I2C analyzer.
4. Leave i2c_address at 0 to use the default BQ27421 7-bit address 0x55, or set another 7-bit address.

The decoder recognizes:

• Control subcommands, including SET_HIBERNATE and CLEAR_HIBERNATE
• Standard 16-bit reads such as Voltage, StateOfCharge, Flags, and Control
• Flags() bit names such as BAT_DET, ITPOR, OCVTAKEN, and FC
• ControlStatus() bit names when the previous control subcommand was CONTROL_STATUS
