Hi @Barkworth

The good news is that Agaricomycetidae is no longer being used in the GBIF taxonomy. The species you found in in the old GBIF backbone Taxonomy is deprecated and no longer in use.

We now use the Catalogue of Life Extended Release (COL XR) and the JSON and the other comment is a way we have to check the status of a particular taxon there.

In this case, Agaricomycetidae is not present on CoL XR and we created an issue so people from CoL can add this taxon.

It does. I knew of the change but had come across those two names in a checklist download so looked up the backbone in that connection. I am now trying to learn more about how to use CoL-xr directly.
