What does this MR do?
Improve the logging of the DependencyChecker. Additionally the tests were adjusted to validate successful BOM generation and parsing as part of the tests.
Why is it needed?
At the moment we do not have much visibility into what's happening. With these additional log statements we should at least be able to follow the execution more easily.
