napi 3.12.x requires napi-build ^2.4.0, and every napi-build 2.4.x links the napi-rs emnapi archives by filename derived from TARGET. For the single-threaded target that is lib/wasm32-wasip1/libemnapi-basic-napi-rs.a, which ships only in emnapi v2. Our overrides hold emnapi at 1.11.2, and emnapi's latest stable is 1.11.3; the entire v2 line is still 2.0.0-alpha.x.

That is also why the failure is split down the middle here: wasm32-wasip1-threads passes because libemnapi-napi-rs-mt.a already exists at 1.11.x, and wasm32-wasip1 panics because the non-threaded counterpart does not.

Not mergeable on its own, and not mergeable together with #207 either without pinning a published artifact's build dependency to a prerelease. #241 has the full evidence and the migration plan for when emnapi 2.0.0 ships.
