Hi, I'm Fabio Campolim

Physicist and senior systems analyst in São Paulo, Brazil. Trained at the Institute of Physics, University of São Paulo (IFUSP) — BSc in Physics and MSc in experimental quantum and non-linear optics — and since 2025 a PhD candidate at UNICAMP, working on computational condensed matter. In parallel: 25 years of software engineering, from CDMA systems at Ericsson's R&D centre, through smart-card and POS firmware and the ERP platforms behind Brazil's largest e-commerce stores, to my current role at Netcracker Technology supporting rating & billing systems for global telecom operators. Along the way I spent two years as a university lecturer, teaching physics, algorithms and mathematics to engineering students.

🤖 How I work

My research and much of my professional tooling runs through an AI-assisted workflow built around Claude Code:

  • Physics on a grid — finite-difference methods for the Schrödinger, Pauli and Dirac equations; band structures, edge states, DOS/LDOS and topological invariants, with every derivation checked symbolically before it becomes code
  • Literature at scale — automated scans across arXiv, OpenAlex, ADS and Scopus, plus full reproduction of published results in executable notebooks
  • AI meets the lab bench — connecting language models to physical instruments, starting with a phone as a remote-controlled sensor laboratory
  • AI in production — built AI-assisted legacy-code analysis and task automation for integrated development and support of enterprise telecom systems

📌 claude-session-publisher — turn Claude Code sessions into self-contained HTML/LaTeX/PDF documents, with a fidelity report proving nothing was lost along the way.

📌 acp-cockpit — a browser client for AI coding agents that speaks the Agent Client Protocol directly: no terminal, no TUI, nothing scraped off a screen. Sessions live in the server, so the browser is disposable; the conversation reads in lanes you can switch off; and anomalies, drift and anything the client does not recognise are surfaced rather than swallowed.

📌 scitech-librarian — one query, every scholarly database, a tidy archive of every run: reproducible, ToS-compliant literature search across nine bibliographic databases, stdlib-only, with databases defined as configuration rather than code.

📌 pythtb-skill — AI-agent skill, verified toolkit, fully executed notebooks and an undergraduate course for PythTB 2.0: tight-binding models, Berry phases, topological invariants.

📌 kwant-skill — Kwant, theory and practice: an executed course on quantum transport with Kwant 1.5 — twelve chapter notebooks from the Schrödinger equation to topological matter, solved exercises, an undergraduate course deck and a Windows installer.

📌 practical-meteorology-course — a complete two-semester undergraduate course in Portuguese on Stull's open textbook Practical Meteorology: lecture notes, Beamer slides, a teacher's guide, 46 executed notebooks (MetPy, climlab, SciPy), exercise lists and a schedule for all 22 chapters plus a module on climate change.

📌 memristec-skill — AI-agent skill, verified Python toolkit and an executed six-chapter book on compact memristor models (linear ion drift, Yakopcic, VTEAM, Stanford–PKU), written from the papers and cross-checked in numbers against the MemrisTec Model Library, with a map of device classes, public data sets and the model families that fit them.

📌 rmcprofile-skill — AI-agent skill, verified toolkit, a clean-room teaching engine, an executed eleven-chapter book and an undergraduate course for RMCProfile 6.7.9, the Reverse Monte Carlo program for total scattering: every file format, an input checker, a cross-check against the program's own output to its single precision, and the corrections it applies measured against its manual.
