Updates esbuild-wasm from 0.25.12 to 0.28.1

Release notes

Sourced from esbuild-wasm's releases.

v0.28.1

  • Disallow \ in local development server HTTP requests (GHSA-g7r4-m6w7-qqqr)

    This release fixes a security issue where HTTP requests to esbuild's local development server could traverse outside of the serve directory on Windows using a \ backslash character. It happened due to the use of Go's path.Clean() function, which only handles Unix-style / characters. HTTP requests with paths containing \ are no longer allowed.

    Thanks to @dellalibera for reporting this issue.

  • Add integrity checks to the Deno API (GHSA-gv7w-rqvm-qjhr)

    The previous release of esbuild added integrity checks to esbuild's npm install script. This release also adds integrity checks to esbuild's Deno install script. Now esbuild's Deno API will also fail with an error if the downloaded esbuild binary contains something other than the expected content.

    Note that esbuild's Deno API installs from registry.npmjs.org by default, but allows the NPM_CONFIG_REGISTRY environment variable to override this with a custom package registry. This change means that the esbuild executable served by NPM_CONFIG_REGISTRY must now match the expected content.

    Thanks to @sondt99 for reporting this issue.

  • Avoid inlining using and await using declarations (#4482)

    Previously esbuild's minifier sometimes incorrectly inlined using and await using declarations into subsequent uses of that declaration, which then fails to dispose of the resource correctly. This bug happened because inlining was done for let and const declarations by avoiding doing it for var declarations, which no longer worked when more declaration types were added. Here's an example:

    // Original code
    {
      using x = new Resource()
      x.activate()
    }
    // Old output (with --minify)
    new Resource().activate();
    // New output (with --minify)
    {using e=new Resource;e.activate()}

  • Fix module evaluation when an error is thrown (#4461, #4467)

    If an error is thrown during module evaluation, esbuild previously didn't preserve the state of the module for subsequent module references. This was observable if import() or require() is used to import a module multiple times. The thrown error is supposed to be thrown by every call to import() or require(), not just the first. With this release, esbuild will now throw the same error every time you call import() or require() on a module that throws during its evaluation.

  • Fix some edge cases around the new operator (#4477)

    Previously esbuild incorrectly printed certain edge cases involving complex expressions inside the target of a new expression (specifically an optional chain and/or a tagged template literal). The generated code for the new target was not correctly wrapped with parentheses, and either contained a syntax error or had different semantics. These edge cases have been fixed so that they now correctly wrap the new target in parentheses. Here is an example of some affected code:

    // Original code
    new (foo()`bar`)()
    new (foo()?.bar)()
    // Old output
    new foo()bar();
    new (foo())?.bar();

Changelog

Sourced from esbuild-wasm's changelog.

Changelog: 2025

This changelog documents all esbuild versions published in the year 2025 (versions 0.25.0 through 0.27.2).

0.27.2

  • Allow import path specifiers starting with #/ (#4361)

    Previously the specification for package.json disallowed import path specifiers starting with #/, but this restriction has recently been relaxed and support for it is being added across the JavaScript ecosystem. One use case is using it for a wildcard pattern such as mapping #/* to ./src/* (previously you had to use another character such as #_* instead, which was more confusing). There is some more context in nodejs/node#49182.

    This change was contributed by @hybrist.

  • Automatically add the -webkit-mask prefix (#4357, #4358)

    This release automatically adds the -webkit- vendor prefix for the mask CSS shorthand property:

    /* Original code */
    main {
      mask: url(x.png) center/5rem no-repeat
    }
    /* Old output (with --target=chrome110) */
    main {
    mask: url(x.png) center/5rem no-repeat;
    }
    /* New output (with --target=chrome110) */
    main {
    -webkit-mask: url(x.png) center/5rem no-repeat;
    mask: url(x.png) center/5rem no-repeat;
    }

    This change was contributed by @BPJEnnova.

  • Additional minification of switch statements (#4176, #4359)

    This release contains additional minification patterns for reducing switch statements. Here is an example:

    // Original code
    switch (x) {
      case 0:
        foo()
        break
      case 1:
      default:
        bar()
    }

Updates framer-motion from 12.23.26 to 12.42.2

Changelog

Sourced from framer-motion's changelog.

[12.42.2] 2026-07-01

Fixed

  • animateView: Cropped group layers now animate border-radius from the old to new radius.

[12.42.1] 2026-06-30

Fixed

  • animateView: Old layer fade out now cancelled when defining .new().

[12.42.0] 2026-06-24

Changed

  • animateView: Layers are automatically grouped to match their DOM-hierarchy. New .group(false) method opts-out.

Fixed

  • animateView: Auto-crop is now aspect-ratio aware, disabling crops for matching aspect-ratios.
  • animateView: Disabled automatic border-radius animation.

[12.41.0] 2026-06-23

Added

  • animateView: Moves from Motion+ Early Access and alpha to main library.
  • animateView: .add() resolves a CSS selector or Element to automatically generate, apply and remove view-transition-name.
  • animateView: .new() and .old() configures values to animate on new and old layers.
  • animateView: .layout() can set a custom transition on the size/position animation of the currently selected elements.
  • animateView: Group layers now automatically crop with children set to cover, with border-radius animating from old radius to new. .crop(false) disables this behaviour.
  • animateView: .class(name) tags currently selected elements with a view-transition-class as a custom CSS hook.

Fixed

  • AnimatePresence: Prevent stuck exit animations when children interrupt.
  • drag: Child e.stopPropagation() no longer break drag end.
  • Fixing Next.js OOM on Windows when importing via motion package.
  • animateLayout: Improve handling of parallel/interleaved calls.

Changed

  • animateView: .enter() and .exit() now refer specifically to new and old layers where there are no matching old or new layers.
  • animateView: Interrupted transition setups now return resolved animation rather than throwing.

[0.53.0]

  • ⚠️ This release deprecates the AMD build and ships with significant changes of the AMD build. The AMD build will still be shipped for a while, but we don't offer support for it anymore. Please migrate to the ESM build.

New Features

  • Next Edit Suggestion support.

…m reads

The Aokie Receptionist's Live Call operator console is now sandboxed
HTML/CSS/JS shipped INSIDE the pack (aokieLiveCallScreen.ts) instead of a
compiled registry screen — the third and final unblocked screen ported
(receptionist-settings stays compiled pending the supervised AOK-304 split).
The compiled AokieLiveCallScreen and its 'aokie-live-call' registry entry stay
for rollback; the Calls form's per-record transcript widget is a separate
pack-owned blob and is unchanged.

The port drives the full bridge, including the subscription lanes shipped for
exactly this screen: connector('aokie', …) for call.current + answer / reject /
hangup / operatorSpeak (routing is transparent — local bridge or the owner's
relay); events.subscribe for live call lifecycle + final transcript turns (with
the turn.corrected patch so the live view converges with stored surfaces);
captions.subscribe for the volatile caller-partial + session phase (tombstoned
when a durable caller turn lands); records() for the recent-calls list;
presence(), can() for control gating; and host.ceremony('simulate-call') for
the scripted demo call.

Two bridge additions the port needed:

- FormLogic.queryRecords(formTarget, { limit }) — read records of ANOTHER form
  in this app (§8.3 records.query). The target resolves to a sibling form by
  pack key / form id / display name; the SERVER enforces the member's per-form
  view permission (the same boundary related() already crosses), so a screen
  can only read what the member could read by navigating there. Used for the
  known-caller name (Customers) and the stored transcript in remote mode
  (Transcript Turns). Resolves [] for an unknown/forbidden form.
- host.ceremony('simulate-call') — drives the mock connector's scripted
  lifecycle so the console is explorable with zero hardware.

Both TRUSTED_ONLY and rate-capped. Verified live (read-only on the prod line,
never pressing the real call controls): the console renders with the presence
pill, real recent-calls rows, and the demo simulate drove a call stage with
the caller card + Answer/Reject/Hang up controls. Retrofitted the live + demo
apps' Calls forms to the code section screen (trust 'owner'), keeping the
record transcript.

Gates: phpunit (ServiceInvoke/pack suites) + vitest 856 + tsc + build +
check-pack-screens. Conversion ladder: transcript, Device Setup, Live Call all
pack-owned now; receptionist-settings is the last compiled screen.
