TypeScript 7 is not yet compatible with the current frontend toolchain used by this project. ESLint fails through @typescript-eslint / ts-api-utils, and Webpack fails through ts-loader because both still depend on the TypeScript JavaScript API removed from TypeScript 7.

We will keep TypeScript 6 until @nextcloud/eslint-config, typescript-eslint, ts-loader, and the Vue tooling provide compatible support. Dependabot major updates for typescript should be ignored in the meantime.
