Measure Amp's writer once Amp is logged in on pro14 #269

Closed

Description

@ericlitman

Current scope

Measure Amp's writer and give it the writer mode the measurement supports, under the rules of #263: confined means isolated-write by default, unconfined means isolated-write-full-access behind amp writer sandbox: full-access.

Blocked until Amp is logged in on pro14: on 2026-11-06 amp printed "Session expired… Run 'amp login'". Eric will log in (2026-11-06).

Acceptance:

  1. The escape measurement from ~/projects/docs/projects/open-pstack/records/2026-11-06-batch-262/design-263.md section 2 runs on Amp through the runner, with the CLI version recorded in Amp's catalog note.
  2. The Amp adapter declares the measured capability; tests cover it.
  3. The writers verifier case list includes Amp; live gate on pro14.

Source: PR #268 (#263), which left Amp read-only because it could not be measured.

    Batch 262 closeout for this issue (full record: https://github.com/mobilyze-llc/docs/blob/main/projects/open-pstack/records/2026-11-06-batch-262/closeout.md):

    #269: Measure Amp's writer once Amp is logged in on pro14

    Shipped in PR #276, merged head 4c084ea.

    1. Escape measurement through the runner with the CLI version in the catalog note: done as written; Amp 0.0.1792123242-g03edc7 is unconfined (edit tool and shell wrote outside the worktree, the shell into the shared .git).
    2. Adapter declares the measured capability, with tests: done as written (read-only, isolated-write-full-access).
    3. Amp in the writers list and a live gate on pro14: done as written. Each provider's cases are also selectable as writers:<provider>, so the gate ran only claude:writers:amp plus self-test (3 sessions), following Eric's note "we only need to test what's changed".

    Done differently: the measurement and live case used Amp's built-in smart mode, because the registered family and the official modes fail on the current account. Eric chose "Register smart"; owned by #279.
