Description

@sfmskywalker

Program: #8194
Parent: #8198
Planning ID: F3.2

Outcome and scope

Prove selective packaging with no unrelated version bumps and dependency-aware testing of shared changes; avoid duplicate publishers.

Acceptance criteria

  • Deliver the specified capability and demonstrate each behavior above with targeted checks or documented research evidence.
  • Preserve existing package/activity identities and supported contracts, or provide an explicit migration.
  • Document setup, limitations, dependencies and verification results.

Readiness

The bounded child story #8249 is closed and links delivered local independent-packaging evidence via #8260 and merged PR #8409. Its delivery record explicitly states that no package publication or cutover occurred: #8249 (comment). Reuse that bounded evidence rather than repeating completed child implementation.

This Feature remains open. Its outcome also says to avoid duplicate publishers; a disabled local-proof publisher and closed children do not prove that competing source publisher authority has been retired. Preserve that outcome through the operational handoff tracked in #8220 and reconcile its actual accepted evidence before Feature closure. The additional six-product-line release capability remains separately required under #8217/#8688. No scope transfer, publisher retirement or parent acceptance is claimed by this readiness clarification.

Follow AGENTS.md, existing test/ conventions and dated ADRs under doc/adr/. Scope is Elsa 3 unless explicitly a portability assessment. Repository consolidation includes Core, all Extensions, and Studio; release boundaries remain explicit and independent.

Hierarchy: native parent/sub-issue relationships verified on 2026-09-23. Explicit blocking dependencies are configured separately; Markdown links remain references. See #8194.
