* build/unix/Containerfile: Depend on gawk and the zlib and zstd dev packages.
* build/unix/release-with-batteries.sh (LLVM_RELEASE): Update to newest (22.1.8).
* Makefile.in (bootstrap-stage-3-statics): Remove -p flag from cp invocations since preserving ownership sometimes does not work in a containerized build.
* documentation/source/library-reference/common-dylan/byte-storage.rst: Remove a dangling reference to byte-storage-offset-address.
* documentation/source/release-notes/2026.2.rst: Update remaining items for the release. * documentation/source/release-notes/index.rst: Add link to the 2026.2 release notes.
* configure.ac: Update AC_INIT version to 2026.2 * sources/lib/release-info/common-info.dylan ($release-version): Update to 2026.2.
