- CITATION.cff (Shkolnik & von Bergmann) so GitHub renders a "Cite this repository" button with APA/BibTeX export - LICENSE copyright holder is Dmitry Shkolnik alone (2024-2026); the intellectual lineage from R cancensus is credited via citation rather than copyright - README: add a Citing pycancensus section; note that MIT covers the code while retrieved data falls under the Statistics Canada Open Licence, and point to pc.dataset_attribution() for generating the required attribution text Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
