When enabled, players who die and click "Release Spirit" respawn as a ghost at their corpse location instead of being teleported to the nearest graveyard. An optional mode teleports the ghost to the instance entrance when the player dies inside a dungeon or raid.
Copy conf/tw-mod-corpse-respawn.conf.dist to your module config directory as tw-mod-corpse-respawn.conf and adjust:
[CorpseRespawn]
CorpseRespawn.Enable = 1
CorpseRespawn.CorpseRespawn = 1
CorpseRespawn.DisableInInstances = 0
CorpseRespawn.InstanceEntranceRespawn = 0Enable: set to0to disable the module and use the default graveyard behavior.CorpseRespawn: set to0to disable corpse-location teleports while still allowing instance-entrance teleports.DisableInInstances: set to1to keep the default graveyard respawn inside dungeons and raids. Battlegrounds and arenas are always unaffected.InstanceEntranceRespawn: set to1to teleport the ghost to the instance entrance instead of the corpse when inside a dungeon or raid. Only applies whenDisableInInstancesis0.
The module registers a PlayerScript that hooks OnPlayerReleasedGhost. When the player releases their spirit, the module schedules a delayed teleport to the chosen location (corpse or instance entrance).
Because this core does not have an OnPlayerCanRepopAtGraveyard hook, the default graveyard teleport still happens first; the module then moves the ghost after a short delay. You may see a brief flicker.
Naxxramas (map 533) has no exit areatrigger, so it uses a hard-coded entrance location when instance-entrance respawn is enabled.
Battlegrounds and arenas are intentionally unaffected.
