Hi there 👋, I'm Jesse!


As of June 2026, I am:

  • A computer science student at the University of Pennsylvania
  • A SWE intern at IMC Trading
  • Co-director of Penn Labs
  • A CIS 1210 (Data Structures & Algorithms) Teaching Assistant at Penn

Some things I've done before:

  • SWE intern @Amazon on AWS Interactive ML, working with VPC/cloud networking
  • Backend engineering intern @Simplify--mostly working with FastAPI and production database management (PostgreSQL)
  • LLM & Cybersecurity Research at Penn
  • Lots of interesting projects! This github is a good first place to look

I'm particularly passionate about:

  • Data structures and algorithms! Not a joke, I find these problems extremely interesting
  • Compilers, computer architecture, and broadly PL/Systems
  • Databases are cool, too
  • ...and learning! I like learning :)
