Welcome to my README! In the age of remote work, it can be harder than ever to get to know the people you work with (especially a new manager!), so I wrote this README in hopes to help you understand how best to work with me. I care deeply about the work I do and the people on my team and I want to help you be your best self and do your best work.
This guide is written primarily for ICs or managers who report to me. For peer relationships at the exec level and above, please reach out for a more tailored guide.
I believe people are the foundations of a company. I believe in collaborative teams with accountability. I believe AI is a tool that amplifies the good and the bad. I love to ship things quickly and iteratively. I love to learn and to teach. I highly value intellectual honesty and providing context with transparency. I will help you become the best person you can be if you want me to.
I recommend reading Radical Candor to understand my feelings on compassionate feedback and watching Parks and Recreation (Seasons 2-6), Ted Lasso season 1 and Fresh Off the Boat (seasons 1-4) to understand my motivations for running a team and Lara Hogan's Resilient Management to understand my communication style.
