Impromon is for those times when you need to monitor just a few services, but you don't want to spin up infrastructure.

Getting Started

You can download the binary from the releases page or you can build it yourself.

go build

Installation

You can just copy the binary to a location in your path or run it directly from the directory where you downloaded it.

Usage

Monitor a single URL:

./impromon -u https://www.google.com

Monitor multiple URLs:

./impromon -u https://www.google.com -u https://www.yahoo.com

Monitor URLs from a file:

./impromon -s example.lst

The file should look like:

https://www.google.com
https://www.yahoo.com
http://www.example.com
tcp://ad.example.com:636

Set a custom timeout and allow insecure connections:

./impromon -u https://www.google.com -t 2s -i
