I think it would be more precise to put it: Create a new duplicate with discarded history. - as "no edit history" to me implies an empty history stack. But automatic presets/workflow are still applied. Incidentally the tooltip is slightly misleading IMHO as well. See darktable-org/darktable#21716.

I'd propose to put it like i proposed in the PR: create a 'virgin' duplicate, discarding the source history stack.

I changed it to be the same as the tooltip in darktable - what do you think?

Continuity is great but I think the tooltip is somewhat wrong, too because as soon as we "demosaic" we are adding "development". But this is nitpicking I'll merge now, we can update should the tooltip change.
