Very hard PR to review given all the changes (and the fact that GitHub is very slow to handle the diff). Though generally it looks great (though maybe worth splitting the plots up in a separate PR next time) Wasn't the DFM site going to be replaced, so I'm unsure if these changes will last. For the site: does mkdocs handle the frontmatter when it is rendered? (Have you tried building the site?) |

@KennethEnevoldsen I am aware that this is a big change. And down the line we should separate the changes a bit more. I am unsure of the timeline for decomissioning the site, so I discussed with @saattrupdan that this might be a good solution for now. I have tested that the mkdocs works. mkdocs removes the frontmatter, so it looks clean. Below is a few screenshots.
