Summary

Calendar System

  • Dashboard calendar with expandable modal, month/year dropdowns, swipe navigation
  • Calendar-task integration — select any date to see tasks and birthdays
  • Birthday tracking via calendar with upcoming birthdays card on dashboard
  • Unified /api/v1/calendar/by-date endpoint

Task Improvements

  • Reminders with date/time picker and overdue highlighting
  • Recurring tasks (daily/weekly/monthly) with auto-reset

Weather

  • Animated CSS backgrounds for 7 weather types (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, stormy, windy)
  • Enhanced data: feels like, rain chance, daily high/low

Mobile App

  • PWA manifest and app icon for home screen install
  • Responsive UI for phone screens
  • Tailscale remote access documented

Other

  • Removed dark mode (unused)
  • Custom HomeOS app icon
  • Quick-add shopping items with emoji buttons
  • 119 backend tests
