This updates the active README and AGENTS.md status from the live npm dist-tag (alpha.6) while keeping the GitHub source at alpha.7. It also adds a small adapter authoring guide covering manifest shape, allowlisted commands, advisory defaults, fixtures, and verification. Historical changelog entries are unchanged.
Validation:
npm run verify(36 tests).
