PM turned builder. Shipping AI-assisted products solo.
First git commit: 22 June 2026. Before that, 10+ years in product management — half a dozen lines of code and never a repo of my own.
What changed isn't that I learned to code. AI coding agents (Claude Code, Grok and Codex) turned a decade-plus of product judgement — what to build, in what order, what good looks like, what to cut — directly into shipped software. I direct the build; the agent writes most of the code. That's the method, not a secret, and it's the reason the pace below is real.
What's shipped since:
- apelabs.au — a one-person web studio, live client sites, free AI-visibility tooling (instant score, snapshot review, llms.txt generator)
- learningmap.au — Australian education data, live
- howareyoureally.au — privacy-first mental health check-in, clinician-reviewed; public launch R U OK? Day, 10 September 2026
- 250+ commits and counting, most weekends, some before 7am
Stack: SvelteKit/TypeScript, Astro, static HTML/JS, Python (FastAPI) — deployed on Netlify and Fly. Current focus: AI-visibility (GEO) tooling and agent-driven delivery workflows.
Building something? I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
