docs: add editable Orinoco Lite poster for US-RSE 2026 - #20
Conversation
Place the vector poster beside its submitted abstract and document editing, PDF export, and the scope of its development-site results. Keep the SVG in ordinary Git so reviewers can inspect the editable source directly. Replace the SVG source with an HTML/CSS poster and exact-size PDF export. Show both deployment workflows, authentic UI screenshots, upstream artwork, and the TRR379 reporting example. Cite the four tagged CON components. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Keep the original SVG storage exception because annex CI inspects every commit in the pull request. Document credential-free retrieval through the registered public asset URLs. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Document the Hub VPN restriction that blocks GitHub asset checks and the existing mirror or external access needed to resolve it. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Expand the newcomer-facing explanation and pair analogous deployment roles with detailed metadata-change workflows. Move the shared editor and local-to-global metadata vision into the third column. Use a 44-inch square canvas, enlarge CON branding, add institutional acknowledgments, and embed verified CON logos in the QR codes. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Align deployment attribution, add the Psychoinformatics mark, and place CON's graph beside its explanation. Show centered homepage overviews at 75% zoom and label the recording link as ORINOCO video. Keep current poster text sizes and add a Letter-size 27, 25.5 and 24 pt proof for comparing legibility at actual print size. Document capture revisions, logo provenance and the CSS controls for later adjustments. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Restore the original ORINOCO artwork and add a matching Lite SVG showing GitHub pull requests, accepted Git records and Actions-based processing. Keep the shared component positions, put screenshots beside their prose, and preserve the detailed workflows below. Include the editable SVG generator and artwork attribution. Verify the rendered result remains one 44-inch square page without panel overflow. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Replace the font-dependent logo with the dev site outlined artwork. Preserve the original canvas size and placement in the poster. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6.1-sol <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: low
Replace detailed workflow prose with concise explanations of local reuse, shared meanings and AI context. Place the shared editor below both illustrations and add current homepage and people-directory screenshots. Place five larger CON-branded QR codes beside their related content and preserve the corrected outlined logo. Record live capture revisions separately from the fixed citation tags. Validate the one-page 44-inch PDF, panel bounds and all five QR destinations in the printed render. Pass 210 QR size, rotation and blur checks. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Use descriptive headings and label the comparison section ORINOCO-Lite. Keep poster.html in the conference directory and move its build helpers, source notes and assets into orinoco-lite/. Remove six superseded captures from the final PR tree and preserve shared assets used by other talks. Update build paths, documentation links and licensing annotations while retaining annex keys and image bytes. Leave citation tags and screenshots for a later refresh once the Vue editing flow is ready. Verify the 44-inch PDF, all five rendered QR links, and byte-identical artwork regeneration. The QR generator passes 210 decoding checks. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Register public release downloads for all 14 previously inaccessible poster objects, including the six versions retained only in Git history. Document the public retrieval path and retain the existing Hub copies. Grandfather the original Git-stored CON logo at its retired path because CI checks historical commits against current attributes. Its relocated replacement retains the standard SVG annex rule. Verify every public object with an anonymous GET outside the VPN and matching byte count and SHA256. Keep the CI workflow and checks unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
Link the completed editor proposal beside the shared editor and replace all six screenshots with current public captures. Cite the coordinated usrse-2026-10-13-r2 source tags and remove the editorial footer sentence. Preserve image provenance and public annex retrieval for the refreshed assets. Verify the 44-inch PDF and all six printed QR destinations. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra

likely rename at least to orinoco-lite_poster.html
Overall -- looks much more human accessible now! I wish only if shaclvue screenshot was a bit more "engaging", not just blank fields, and potentially the demo PR was also easier to grasp ...
Also among ontologies check out the ones used there intensly if you look into actual records. the point to "merge" our graphs on those identifiers (could mention shared UUIDs for common objectives!); and reuse common ontologies such as e.g. MARC to define relationships between people and projects, etc

- renamed
- more sensible shacl-vue screenshot
- the shared objective is a result of us knowing their objective and adding it ourselves. I used doi/orcid as an example because that better demonstrates emerging connections between independently maintained collections through the wider metadata ecosystem... having a catalog of objectives would be nice.
- The PR link now is to all such PRs in the repo so it will capture newer ones over time.

did you push new shacl-vue screenshot to the hub?
I just now use git annex sync increasingly more often to just make annexed content etc to go all places where it should go -- worth learning how etc. There is a way to exclude remotes from being pushed, e.g. with smth like
git remote | grep -v -e datasets.datalad.org -e origin -e smaug | while read r; do git config set remote.$r.annex-sync false; done

nevermind, somehow it appeared ;)
Show typed metadata editing and matching ORCID and DOI identifiers in independently maintained records. Link readers to the evolving collection of SHACL Vue pull requests and update the editable poster filename. final touches, in addition to those hyperlinks in the poster
add one more QR to lead to the poster itself since we know that it would be shared now at https://datasets.datalad.org/centerforopenneuroscience/talks/2026-usrse/orinoco-lite_poster.html

this is an example but not sure it highlights the original comment that if the same ID used not only within a publication but across different instances of our ORINOCO graphs -- we could join them together.
but ok, let it be as is for now

and since HTML -- instruct your corp friend to just make all those "screenshots" to be html hyperlinks leading to those pages, not only QR codes
also add hyperlinks in the footer to dartmouth, repronim,
Link screenshots, component diagrams and institutional marks to their corresponding pages. Add graph and Zenodo QR codes, placing the poster code beside the authors for visibility. Use the concept DOI for the poster QR and hyperlinks so readers reach the latest published version. Co-Authored-By: Codex Desktop 26.1007.30912 (runtime codex-cli 0.162.0-alpha.17.2) / gpt-6-astra <codex@openai.com> Codex-Reasoning-Effort: ultra
