The Action Smoke job has been red on every run since #97: the runner template-parses every
${{ }}expression in a composite action manifest, including input descriptions, and thereport-artifact-namedescription contained a literal${{ matrix.package }}example.matrixis not an available context inside an action, so manifest loading fails outright and any consumer pinned to@maingets a hard failure before a single step runs.@v1is still safe only because the tag hasn't moved since the last publish, so this needs to land before the next release.There is no escape syntax for
${{in manifests, so the fix rewords the example to plain prose. Action-only change, empty changeset.
