Official public documentation for outbid.news.
outbid.news is a public cash-ranked leaderboard for links. Product pages, articles, tools, launches, and public resources can claim a position by completing a bid. Higher completed bids rank higher. There are no votes, no private scoring, and no hidden feed algorithm.

The board ranks links by completed payment amount:
- A visitor submits a public product URL.
- The visitor chooses a whole-dollar bid.
- A secure checkout opens in a payment window.
- After payment is confirmed, the listing appears on the board.
- The listing position is determined by completed bid amount.
New spots start at $2. To claim the top position, the public interface asks for at least $5 above the current top bid. If the same product URL is already listed, a new completed bid raises that existing listing instead of creating a duplicate.
