Skip level multi level lists should support custom numbering, per level

1. Create a multi level list, we will try to match a previous list entry 1.2.1

We can see here we have the custom start numbering 1.2, this is to match the number above

Tab to skip the list level and the list becomes

1.1.1, and setting a custom start number of two gives that 1.1.2. The inability to retain custom numbers from previous list "levels" means its impossible to recreate custom indents from previous block content as shown in the image

✔️ Expected result

Ideally, the list would take "1.2.2" as a custom start number, but failing that, it would be preferable if on "skip" the custom start number would be retained

❌ Actual result

It resets to the "base" start number, making it unusable for the use case described above

We've been discussing the topic of adjusting start number and how it could work. For the upcoming release it was unfortunately out of scope, but it's something we'll be looking into in the future.

I think that's fair, but I'd be of the opinion that skip level lists is not feature complete without this behaviour as you can't "skip" to any list item like you can in word. But I can understand the technical limitations here.

Happy to have ye close this ticket if it is captured elsewhere and part of current work.
