Adds chert-sdk onboard: sign in from the number on a Mac by sending a one-time code from Messages, set up the trial, request the FaceTime demo, then wire in the current project or set up the chert CLI.

Depends on the /api/v1/phone-logins server endpoints in a separate draft change. Until those ship, the command stops with onboarding_unavailable after sending nothing.

Not verified: no iMessage was sent and no call was placed. Tests use injected exec and fetch. On a real Mac only number detection and resolving the Messages participant were run. A supervised live run is required before release.

Known limits:

  • Messages sends from the number set under Start New Conversations From, and a script cannot choose it. A number sent from another number does not verify, and the command reports that.
  • Only Messages' aliases are read, not the Apple ID's vetted aliases.

No package is published.

chert-sdk onboard reads the numbers signed in to Messages, signs in by sending
a one-time code from the Messages app, sets up the trial, requests the FaceTime
demo, then finishes for the directory: a coding-agent handoff in a project and
the agent CLI elsewhere. Reading a number is never treated as proof.

A verified number the server left unlinked stays reported but is no longer
eligible as the demo recipient. The phone login refusal now points to browser
sign-in, since codes may already have been sent when it is returned.

A refused or unavailable demo no longer skips the personal agent CLI or the
project wiring. The command still reports the demo failure and exits nonzero.
An expired sign-in still stops immediately.

Running the command is the agreement: no confirmation or install prompts. Only
a choice between numbers still asks. With no number in Messages it asks for one
and says what to text.

Retrying a missed demo call asks for a new verification within the server's
30 second limit, which stopped the run and told the person to run it again.
