escalate: host PATH lacks gh, sweep fails; P0 health PRs #344

Closed

Description

@cgwalters-bot

bot-sweep run 20261004-091005-369 failed every gh call with spawn gh ENOENT: gh exists only inside toolbox rhel-toolbox-stream10, and the dispatcher session on the host has no gh in PATH (BOT_SWEEP_TOOLBOX is set, so the sweep apparently ran outside it). Needs a decision on where dispatcher and sweep run.

Health, checked via the toolbox: bootc-dev/bootc#2437 (draft, last activity 2026-09-21) fails only test-integration (fedora-44, composefs, ext4, grub, bls, unsealed) after 2h17m in a run from 2026-09-10; a stale run, likely needs a rebase or rerun the bot cannot trigger. bootc-dev/bootc#2530 and cgwalters-forge/rhel-bootc-examples#4 already carry bot comments asking for review (REVIEW_REQUIRED / CHANGES_REQUESTED), so nothing to do until the operator acts. Recommendation: fix the PATH/toolbox wiring first, then bot-pr rebase #2437.

    Fixed: the supervisor unit ran on the host, outside the toolbox where gh, rg and the bot's environment live. It now re-executes inside rhel-toolbox-stream10 and reads the token from the same file bot-sweep uses. tracker#343 (moving it into homegit) carries the same requirement. bootc#2437 is an outside contributor's draft; nothing for the bot to do.
