This repo contains code to generate results and figures for the paper: “Pandemic risk in the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways” by Lavelle et al. 

To run this code base, you must have R installed on your computer. To reproduce the results, first clone or download this github repository to your computer. This repo uses renv for dependency management. Run renv::restore to install all packages from their recorded versions. This repo uses targets to orchestrate the analysis pipeline contained in _targets.R. To recreate Fig. 1-3 used in the paper, run targets::tar_make(). FIg. 4 was produced outside the targets pipeline, in Microsoft Powerpoint.
