Hello everyone! 💻

My name is Camila,

I'm a CompSci PhD Student from Colombia and also a Physics Engineer! 👩🏻‍💻. And sometimes a Data Scientist at i-APS 🌍, where I worked with humanitarian organizations such as WFP, UNICEF, and JSI, analyzing data from past interventions across African and Asian countries.

Right now, living in Mexico while I'm studying at Tecnológico de Monterrey, I'm part of the CV-inside Lab research group, where I'm currently studying skills assessment on cataract surgery using Computer Vision and implementation of AI. For now, working on review papers for a complete comparison of technologies applied to different surgical interventions 📑.

My areas of interest are medical imaging, early disease diagnosis, neurological studies, and minimally invasive procedures, all involving the proper use of AI tools (Deep Learning mostly) 🩻.

Want to show my progress on GitHub from different courses, study books, and casual code sessions to help other people who want to grow 🌱. Also, my college projects for anyone interested!
