Split operations.py into a category package (pointwise/neighborhood/reductions/ structural/differences/creation) with map_blocks/map_overlap/reduce primitives and a CuPy GPU execution seam. ~85 lazy ops via a flat + grouped API.
.astype/.clip/.round methods (clip/round accept out= for np.clip/np.round compat), __array_ufunc__ routing numpy ufuncs to lazy ops, arithmetic/comparison/logical operator overloads, and a sourceless _from_transform for generative arrays.
Disk-staged Rechunker-style rechunk (read-once/write-once, per-worker max_mem + max_workers), flatten via rechunk-to-flat-contiguous, reshape via flatten+reindex. Bounded RAM on 5GB+ awkwardly-chunked arrays.
GPU extras (gpu-cuXX) + scipy dep; rewrite README for the current feature set; add release.yml (OIDC trusted publishing); gitignore benchmarks/ and reports/.
Fuzz correctness harness vs numpy + reductions/neighborhood/new-ops/creation/ rechunk/reindex/numpy-protocol suites. 181 passing on small, fast data.
