Blocking libsnapd-glib1 from install breaks packages

After a recent update to cups, the main cups server removed itself because it depends on libsnapd-glib1 now to talk to snap-confined packages.

A number of other packages also depend on libsnapd-glib1:

Removing this block to the preferences file doesn't seem to pull anything else snap-related and fixed cups install.

Looking over this list, this explains why audio suddenly stopped working on my system, as pulseaudio has been uninstalled.

I suggest checking the rdepends of the packages blocked here to ensure they don't break anything.

I need a lot more information to be able to react to this in any way!
For example, which OS version is being used here?
Which packages are involved (in this case) exactly?

Totally fair. This is my recent experience with Kubuntu 20.04 system. It seems that this library is being integrated into existing software to enable snaps to talk to non-snap services. In this case, it was cups and pulseaudio.

Blocking libsnapd-glib1 and having unattended upgrades enabled resulted in the system deciding that pulseaudio and cups-daemon had to go.

I disabled the block on this library and was able to reinstall cups and pulseaudio.

More details: libsnapd-glib1 cannot be removed on Pop!_OS 22.04.

On Ubuntu 22.04, it seems liike libsnapd-glib1 is required by gnome-control-center.

POP!_OS isn't on the supported List, sorry.

You are welcome to create a pull request with the relevant tests for me to look at.

I don't currently have the time to deal with an additional OS.
