Public home for the take-home exercises used in BetterUp's AI / AI-automation engineering hiring loops. If you're a candidate: welcome, and thanks for spending your time on this. Each take-home is a small, real slice of the actual job, not a trivia gauntlet.
Everything in this repo is fictional. Products, customers, people, transcripts, and issues are invented for the exercises. There is no real customer or BetterUp data here.

- Your recruiter points you at the take-home for your role.
- Fork this repo and build your solution in your fork (see
SUBMISSION.mdfor the exact flow). - Submit at least 24 hours before your technical deep-dive, which is a working session on your solution.
Use AI tools (we do, every day) and disclose how. We care far more about judgment, reliability instincts, and work you can explain and stand behind than about whether you solved it unaided or used your whole toolkit. Read the role's README for specifics.
- Don't spend more than the stated time-box. We'd rather see a smaller scope done well, honestly noted, than a sprawling half-finished build.
